This was a commissioned piece for saddle up estates. I posted the process from start to finish on my blog. I really like how it turned out and learned a lot from the process even though it may be considered to be the most conservative thing I've painted. However, I am really happy with the finished piece. I live in a cowboy town, why not paint horses?..... they are gorgeous creatures.
